Dr. Vincent “Vinny” Guzaldo is a dedicated Chiropractic Physician passionate about helping
patients overcome pain and injuries to achieve their best quality of life. He earned his B.S. in
Athletic Training at Illinois State University, where he played Division I hockey for the ISU
Redbirds for four years. During his time at ISU, Dr. Guzaldo assisted the head athletic trainer for
the Division I softball team for three years. His experience as a Division I athlete and working
with athletes sparked his passion for a career supporting athletes of all levels.
After graduating from ISU in 2018, Dr. Guzaldo pursued his education at Logan University
College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri, specializing in Chiropractic Sports Medicine and
functional rehabilitation. Since earning his chiropractic degree, he has obtained certifications in
Acupuncture/Dry Needling, Active Release Technique (ART), Mechanical Diagnosis and
Therapy (MDT), and Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA). Additionally, Dr.
Guzaldo is a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Certified Golf Medical Practitioner, enabling
him to design golf-specific fitness programs for performance enhancement and injury prevention
for golfers of all levels.
Outside his professional life, Dr. Guzaldo is deeply passionate about triathlons, marathons, and
Ironman races. In December 2023, he completed his first Ironman 70.3 in Palm Springs,
California, igniting a lifelong passion for the sport. When he is not training, he enjoys spending
time with friends and family, traveling to coastal destinations, attending music festivals, golfing,
hockey, and 16-inch softball. Dr. Guzaldo is beyond thrilled to join Oakbrook Medical Group
and welcomes patients seeking personalized care for pain relief and athletic performance.
