Vanessa Diaz, DNP, FNP-BC, is a dedicated doctor of nursing practice serving the community of Oak Brook, Illinois. At Oak Brook Medical Group, she strives to provide top-quality services with an emphasis on patient-first care.  

Dr. Diaz graduated from the University of Notre Dame with her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing in 2013 and her Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2019, both from Rush University in Chicago. She is board certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. 

Prior to joining the team at Oak Brook Medical Group, Dr. Diaz worked as a nurse practitioner specializing in pain management. She formerly worked as a registered nurse at Rush University Medical center on the Surgical Intensive Care Unit and the Cardiovascular-Thoracic, Spine, and Neurology Unit. Additionally, Dr. Diaz served as a clinical instructor at Rush University College of Nursing, teaching new students the fundamentals of excellent nursing.
